High School Iterns at Oakridge School

Every school year students from various high schools in Nebo District sign up for work-based training internships at Oakridge School. The students are assigned a specific classroom in which to work with the developmentally disabled students at Oakridge.  This semenster Lauren Wake and Brooke Kramer will be working with the students at Oakridge twice a week.

Lauren is a senior at Springville High School. She is a drum major with the Springville High Marching Band, a member of the Drama Guild and a member of the Springville Youth City Council. Lauren's plans after graduation are to attend college and double major in both Special Education and Music Education. Lauren says, " I love being able to work at Oakridge".  Laurens is the daughter Paul and Nicki Wake of Springville.

Brooke a senior at Spanish Fork High School is Vice-President of Spirit on the Student Body Council. She plays Soccor and Softball for the Dons. Brooke is undecided on her major but is leaning towards a degree in Special Education or Communications. Brooke is the daughter of Greg and Stephanie Kramer of Spanish Fork.
