We enjoyed the pretty weather yesterday.
It's that time of year again. We get to start feeding and helping with the pigs. We love when the peer tutors come to take us to interact with the pigs.
Science experiments are always a joy to do with our students. They enjoy seeing the reaction of vinegar and baking soda!!!
For one of the planning times we did some fun songs. One of the favorites is the "Donut" song. The students get to pick different color donuts and we sing about them.

Sweethearts assembly was a hoot. They started off with a dance to annouce everyone. The girls had to eat corn on the cob, rope, kiss a pig and some other stuff. They ended with a cake auction and the cakes were amazing.
Shaving cream is always a fun thing to play in. It is great for sensory input.
Sally has been with Oakridge 2 years and we are lucky to have her. She is a very hard worker and loves the students. She has a way to get the students to do things others can't. We love having Sally.
