Kjersti Jones is a technician in Tasha's class and she is VERY talented. She brought her violin and played for the students. Needless to say both staff and students LOVED it!
Christopher is a student in Tasha Lewis’ class. He writes by using a tool called, a braille notebook. This is like a computer without the monitor. He is able to write not just words of sentences, but full papers and stories. It also allows him to save his work so that if needs be he can come back to it.
There are even more new faces here at Oakridge. An additional technician was hired on for each individual classroom. We are excited to have them join our Oakridge team and continue in making this year great!!
