Oakridge School Christmas Play

Submitted by teresa.gordon on

Oakridge School and Springville High School are preparing for our annual collaborative Christmas play.  On Monday December 16th at 7 p.m. they will perform another original story called Catch a Falling Christmas Star.  The story features “animals” from the Hogle Zoo, including a guitar playing platypus.  The Oakridge students are excited to show off their acting chops.  Come to this one night only event.  Don’t miss it or Santa will miss you.

Oakridge students are gearing up for Thanksgiving.  On Tuesday, one of our teachers Tasha Lewis read a warm-hearted holiday story to the students.  "We read the story 10 Fat Turkeys. "Everyone had fun being turkeys and gobbling away during the activity" said Tasha.

Trick or Treat

Oakridge celebrated Halloween in grand style.  The parents, staff and students donned costumes for a fun filled afternoon of trick or treating. A spooktacular party was held afterwards in the multi-purpose room where spooky treats and scary music were enjoyed by all the ghouls, goblins and witches.
