Preschool Testing at Oakridge

Submitted by teresa.gordon on

Every Monday Oakridge School buzzes with the pitter patter of small feet.  On Mondays Audiologist Dallin Millington, tests the hearing and vision of preschool aged children. Dixie Spressor and Norma Goddard are also on hand to assess cognitive skills.   This is the first stop in the process to see if a child qualifies for Special Ed services.  Nebo School District provides pre-school service at no charge to developmentally delayed eligible children with severe disabilites. District preschools are only for students with disabilites unless parents choose to pay tution or attend Title 1. If you have any any questions or want to schedule an appointment, call Teresa at 801-491-2165 or the Special Ed office at 801-354-7416.
