On Friday, September 23, 2011 the students of Oakridge School took a field trip to American Beauty Academy in Payson. The students were treated to a wash, cut and style by the students at American Beauty Academy.
Jillian Dahle, a Unique Technician at Oakridge School and former student of had 18 inches of her hair cut. Jillian will be donating her hair to Locks of Love. Jade Rogers a student at American Beauty Academy was the stylist who cut Jillian's hair. Jade is a 2011 Payson High School graduate. Jade who suffers from Lupus is not only a recipient of Locks of Love but has also donated to her own hair to the organization.
