Every Friday the students at Oakridge take a field trip. The students are bussed to BYU or to the Provo Rec Center. They bowl, swim and excersie. These activities help with fine and gross motor skills. These field trips expose our students to the outside world where they benefit from interaction with the general public. Not only are they being taught life and social skills but independance as well.
On Thursday, December 19th the Latinos in Action and Leadership class from Landmark High School visited Oakridge School. They read Christmas books and then surprised the Oakridge students with a gift and a visit from Santa Claus. Oakridge School would like to thank these students for their generosity and kindness.
