We have amazing twins at Oakridge. One was sitting in the swing the other went and sat on his lap and they just enjoyed each other for awhile. It was fun to watch.
On our field trip, we were able to go the BYU bean museum. At the live show, we got to touch different animals and other items. One of the favorites was the snake. Most of the kids were brave enough to touch it. We had adults hiding outside when they walked around with it ha ha. More pictures to come!!!
All parents invited to attend Oakridge School Community Council. On January 9th we are privileged to have Heidi Whittaker (she is the Nebo School District Parent Consultant/Utah Parent Center) there to answer any questions you may have. It will be wonderful, we would love to see you all there.
Oakridge puts on a play every Christmas. It is amazing. It will be on Monday, December 10th at 7:00. Hope to see you there. Also we are still taking donations for the baskets- Just add ice cream, Family Night, and Christmas.
We had a furry friend visit us at school today. Most of the students enjoyed seeing or petting the dog. He was well behaved.
Tasha's class wrote a grant from Nebo Foundation for an Aerogarden. Some of her students helped plant the pods. They have enjoyed watching the plants grow. She has had them touch and taste the lettuce. We have loved having our own garden in the classroom.
